Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join the SPACE44 team, focusing on managing data interchange between users and our servers. You will be responsible for crafting and maintaining server-side logic, optimizing database performance, and integrating front-end elements. A successful candidate will possess comprehensive Go experience and expertise in back-end integration. Duties include developing back-end solutions, constructing efficient Go modules, and merging front-end components. Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Golang applicationsCollaborating with teams to analyze problems, engineer software solutions, and optimize system flow and data usageWriting clean, efficient, and scalable Go codeCreating and integrating backend components with front-end designsIntegrating and securing data storage solutionsConducting tests, managing bugs, and developing automated test scriptsIdentifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks and bugsConnecting applications with additional web servers and maintaining API functionalityProducing and updating technical documentation for system strategies and maintenanceKeeping abreast of the latest developments in Golang and related technologiesIterating on applications post-deployment to enhance performance based on feedback

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years' experience in Golang development, with a solid grasp of frameworks and tools such as Gorilla and GORMDemonstrated expertise in designing and building scalable server-side applicationsProficiency in software development lifecycle best practices, including testing and debuggingComprehensive knowledge of web development processes (design, development, deployment)Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS), RESTful APIs, JSON, gRPC, containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) Comfortable using front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3 and frameworks like ReactJS or VueJSAgile methodology knowledge and experience working in a distributed, international team environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
