Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Angular)

CI&T is seeking a talented, backend oriented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our high-performing and growing team in the Philippines. This is a Full-Time position which will require working the night shift (U.S. Time Zones).

About the Role

Together with colleagues from CI&T, the Senior Full Stack Developer will work on a client's project to modernize its large transportation system. Our requirements are written by Business Analysts and are based on the current systems the company uses.

The ideal candidate for the position must have the ability to execute systems development projects with minimal technical direction. He/she must be able to solve complex problems, create well-architected solutions, produce high quality software, drive innovations, and ensure client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and modernize interfaces following a design system.Develop new functionalities specified by the Business Analysts of the project.Write good and well-tested code while adhering to CI&T coding standards and development methodologies.Perform unit testing of the code developed.Develop unit testing code of the solution provided.Evaluate and adopt new development tools, libraries, and approaches to improve quality.Investigate assigned issues and formulate a sound solution.Deliver tasks within schedule and resolve problems in a timely manner.Work cooperatively and supportively within a development team environment.Collaborate with team members during estimation effort of development tasks.Participate in code review discussion.Learn and share development knowledge with your teammates. Mentor less experienced developers.Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience/expertise in delivering rich front end web applications in Angular & experience in software development using Java/Spring technologies.Advanced technical knowledge of the following is expected: Design Patterns, Unit Tests, Object Orientation, Database Design, SQL, Spring transactions, and JPA entities relationships.Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC), models, and best practices (in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, & operations).Experience working as part of a team using Agile methodologies.Good problem-solving abilities with excellent analytical skills.Innovative and idea-driven, able to research, and suggest solutions to technical problems.Strong attention to detail and quality driven.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, connecting, and collaborating with others.Excellent communication skills and has the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders.Amenable to work the night shift.Currently, this job is open only for applicants residing in the Philippines.
