My client is a rapidly expanding company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. This role requires proficiency in Spanish. The engineer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's advanced technology platform, with required expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and SQL.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using NestJS.Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS principles to architect and implement complex systems.Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support seamless user interactions.Design and manage databases using SQL (PostgreSQL).Implement caching solutions using Redis.Utilize BullMQ for handling background jobs and tasks.Implement monitoring and error tracking using Sentry and performance monitoring using New Relic.Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and documentation.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.Contribute to the planning, architecture, and implementation of new features and system enhancements.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications on a Google Cloud Kubernetes Cluster.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Spanish.Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer in a competitive technology company or a startup.Strong proficiency in NestJS and Node.js frameworks.Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and CQRS principles.Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL).Experience with Redis for caching solutions.Familiarity with BullMQ for handling background jobs.Experience with Sentry for error tracking and New Relic for performance monitoring.Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
