Do you want to build an impactful career to change the world for the better?ZapIntern has an exciting remote opportunity for a Software Developer Intern for the Fall 2024 semester. This position allows you to apply software development knowledge to real-world situations while learning the technical skills needed for a successful career. The internship is 20-40 hours/week for approximately 13 to 15 weeks. Preferred candidates would have the opportunity to return for up to two additional semesters during their studies.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, and implementation of software applications.Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to support various software projects.Collaborate with data scientists and software developers to integrate solutions into products.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Debug and troubleshoot software issues.Develop and implement data preprocessing pipelines and evaluation metrics.Conduct research on the latest technologies and trends to inform development strategies.Attend virtual meetings and networking events to represent ZapIntern.

Education and SkillsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.Experience with programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or R.Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and tools.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Outstanding academic credentials and a passion for software development.To Learn More Visit: ZapIntern.com
