Augmented Reality Developer | Contract

We are plaiAR, an innovative startup in the field of augmented reality for live events, supported by ANII (National Agency for Research and Innovation) and ANDE (National Development Agency).

We are looking for a skilled Augmented Reality Developer for a short-term project. If you have experience in AR development and a good understanding of 3D environment, we would love to meet you!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating ideas into clear, quality code. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure its quality. You will also provide support by troubleshooting any software-related issues.

Requirements:Experience with 8th Wall: Preferably, candidates should have experience with 8th Wall. Experience with other AR platforms is also valuable.Programming Languages and Frameworks: Proficiency in one or more of the following: Three.js, Babylon.js, AFrame, Vue.js, etc.Video Game Knowledge: Basic understanding of video game principles and 3D world development.3D Skills: Experience with modeling, animation, and managing 3D environments.VPS (Visual Positioning System): Use and setup of VPS environments is a nice to have

Responsibilities:AR Development: Design, develop, and implement AR features for live events.Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure the AR experience is seamless and engaging.Testing and Debugging: Ensure the AR applications run smoothly on various devices and platforms.Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your development process.

Preferred Qualifications:Previous Experience: Prior work in AR for events or gaming is a plus.Creative Thinking: Ability to bring innovative ideas to the table.Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a startup environment.
