We are looking for a Great Plains/SQL Developer for a permanent opportunity
Description: The GP / SQL Server Developer will develop and support back-office processes and applications integrating with GP and other
ERP products, including billing, payment processing, operations management and reporting systems, vendor/ third-party interfaces and external websites/resources. The ideal candidate will provide leadership in this space as we evolve and modernize back-end financial systems with a focus on reporting and data analysis.
Serve as Pay Tel’s business expert for back-office systems integrating with GP/other ERP products. Take ownership of administration, maintenance and technical support for back-office systems. Provide user support for routine issues. Analyze processes and business needs. Develop and support new functionality, customizations and integrations based on user and business needs. Optimize and maintain SQL Server database. Evaluate and tune use of SQL in application code across the Pay Tel product line. Write and execute stored procedures, construct queries, and make existing queries more efficient. Design tables and databases that demonstrate a clear understanding of the relations between them, resulting in high quality output. Conduct application server administration and maintenance. Manage integrations to major systems at the database layer. SQL Server primarily, but also for service integrations where needed. Data Reporting. Evaluate, implement, and maintain reporting solutions. Create reports to meet business needs or work with other developers to assist them in creating reports to meet business needs. Work closely with other departments and teams on development, design and delivery of work product. Includes but is not limited to Software Development, Infrastructure and Accounting/ Finance teams.
