We are seeking a remote Senior Guidewire Integration Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions that align with business requirements.

Your core focus will be on delivering high-quality, scalable, and reusable integrations within the Guidewire platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Your should possess the strong technical expertise in Guidewire integrations.

Responsibilities

Work with technical and business leaders during Guidewire Policy Center implementations and actively participate in the requirements review, assessment, and high-level and detailed sizing of required configuration and technical effortEnsure technical design and specifications are in line with traceable user-stories/requirements and according to Guidewire and Sompo development best-practicesLeverage available Guidewire accelerators to accelerate development activities and make reuse of proven architectural patterns, for integrations or product development activitiesDevelop integration solutions including Batch processes, Message Queues, and Event MessagingLeverage Guidewire EDGE APIs or EDGE oriented extended models to build domain-based API solutions that are reusableEstablish and execute traceable unit and integration tests (automated as to be agreed)Write code/peer reviews and ensure that unit, integration, end-to-end, and smoke tests are conducted following continuous integration and deployment activitiesDevelop integration solutions with internal and external consumersFacilitate for gate-checking code prior to higher environment propagationsSupport various life-cycle phases during/post-implementation, including production support & maintenance

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center integration development with an experience developing web based Java/J2EE or .NET applicationsStrong experience/knowledge of Guidewire integration concepts: Batch Processing, Message Queues, and Event ProcessingExperience with creating transactional, account, and user-management integrations with Guidewire Policy Center and external systemsAdvanced knowledge with XML, JSON, and SQLExperience with web service hosting and consuming, using the Guidewire EDGE LayerStrong experience designing/developing REST APIs or web services to expose Guidewire functionality to consumersProficiency in using Agile methodology and tooling (TFS, Rally, JIRA, etc.)Experience with source control tools like GIT, TFSExcellent communicational and organizational skillsB2+ English level proficiency
