Sr. Power BI developer

Job description:We are looking skilled Power BI developer to join our team. In this role, you will transform large, complex datasets into presentable dashboards and reports for business decision-making. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them.

Note: This is W2 role Only (No C2C please)

Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.Someone who can manage projects directly with the business users to gather requirements and translate to working solutions.Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboards.Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively.Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure.Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.

QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or Economics.Some relevant experience working at a financial services/Mutual fund company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services organization.Knowledge of a range of financial products, including loans, derivatives, equities, and fixed income.Knowledge of industries, including investment banking, broker-dealers, custody, fund administration and investment management would be helpfulWorking knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and AlteryxCoding skills (e.g., Python) will be a plusStatistical and econometric modeling.
