Right now, we are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team at Modyo!

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work directly in our Services area, area responsible for managing the relationship and work with our clients, implementing the our platform, developing projects of different complexities and providing the required support to both the platform and the developments implemented on it.

Also, you will have close collaboration with a very good team of developers who not only enjoy solving interesting problems, but also have developed digital products of the highest level. This position offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills, technology and processes.Some responsibilities of the role include:

Develop quality source code, following best practices and promoting continuous improvement in the processes and methodologies we carry.Technically refine assigned tasks and seek creative solutions to problems encountered in client projects.Work collaboratively with team members and different internal areas to effectively respond to queries raised.Understand the client's business model to implement an effective technology solution.Participate in the definition of requirements and specifications with the customer.Follow best practices and promote continuous improvement in our processes and methodologies.

MUST HAVES

At least an intermediate level of English (exclusive). We don’t require you to be a native English speaker, but we do need you to be able to hold conversations in English.At least 2 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails (RoRs).Knowledge of identity and authentication, OpenID Connect, OAuth and security issues (desirable).
