The Americas Azure Commercial Sales Unit is looking for an experienced Developer Audience Go-to-Market Marketing Manager, a motivated, self-driven individual to drive Azure adoption with professional developer communities. Azure is the growth engine for Microsoft, spanning our app, infrastructure, data, and artificial intelligence businesses.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and orchestrating strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans across sales, marketing, finance, consulting, customer success, and partner functions, supporting One-Microsoft.
This is a cross-functional role, resulting in revenue, growth and shared outcomes for their Azure aligned priorities, which this role is focused on driving awareness and engagement with developers in accounts to win Developer workloads, increase in market share and developer tools adoption.
The right candidate will be a technical marketing leader with experience marketing to developers across both open-source and Microsoft development stacks.

Responsibilities
Product Advocacy:
Acts as the primary product and technical advocate, evangelizing across products within the Product Manager-owned portfolio and across the business.Identifies and develops strategies to drive cross-selling scenarios and attach points across product/service area(s).Provides guidance to sales in customer engagements (e.g., resources and programs, best practices for scaling, change management, and deal coaching for segments), and counsels partner practice leads.Build, foster, and maintain healthy relationships with local developer marketing and technical resources and understand how to optimize resource utilization to execute the local developer marketing plan to grow the Azure developer tools pipeline. These resources include the local Sales and Marketing teams, Cloud Advocates, Azure Global Black Belts, Cloud Solution Architects, Technical Specialists, and Area Learning Lead.
Business Leadership
Develops and executes business strategy and tracks the efficacy of plans across the business to drive sustainable growth within and beyond the boundaries of the fiscal year.Actively leads and engages with all stakeholders across the area/subsidiary for One Microsoft orchestration.Leads regular cadence of connections with corporate stakeholders to execute strategic planning, and reports to management on status of the business.Partners across teams to drive GTM for aligned Solution Plays, identifying growth opportunities in the market and building clear execution plans .Creates strategy to drive whitespace penetration and identify/pursue new opportunities for sustained growthEnsure usage and ROI on investments, programs, and content along the customer journeyAlign, influence and coach field teams, sales operations, marketing plans, business rhythms and change management to convert strategic priorities into local execution .Drives regular engagements with relevant executive stakeholders to develop and operationalize strategies and oversee implementation of cross-market solutions that drive strategic impact and increased market share, in line with area-specific service requirements (e.g., local regulatory compliance/programs).Lead the team to deliver on targets by orchestrating execution and providing GTM objectives to drive marketing strategies for customer acquisition, acceleration, adoption and advocacy.
Connected Sales Enablement
Lands and champions solution plays, activating connected sales and marketing execution in every segment to maximize performance and share Serves as the primary orchestrator between corporate and the field and ensures field and corporate leadership are aligned on business results and actions to take.Strategically activates the partner ecosystem to enable and drive results.Identifies failure points and orchestrates resources to mitigate.
Sales Enablement

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
5+ years enterprise marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.Technical marketing experience across cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform and/or similar public cloud solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales,OR related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science,OR related fieldOR equivalent experience.5+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.Passion for technology and a background working in the commercial application development space.Deep marketing competencies/skills & experience, including analytical skills.Deep understanding of software development principles, common DevOps practices, cloud platforms, business drivers, and emerging trends in Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies and tools (e.g., Node; Java; Python; etc.)Previous experience in professional software development rolesTrack record of strategic organizational impact and influenceTrack record of v-team accomplishments (cross boundary collaboration and interpersonal awareness)Solid leadership skills and team building, decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through.Results driven; with presentation, verbal, and written communication.
Field Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
