Lead WMS Developer

Primary Responsibilities:Lead application development functions on logistics management platforms (80% coding, 20% leading)Understand and lead adherence to SCRUM methodologiesProvide leadership and direction to ensure development team efficiencyProvide technical direction to developersProvide and define use cases and work closely with Business AnalystsCreate and modify WMS technologies such as LinOS-Connect, Connect-WMS, Connect-RF, and Connect-VoiceUnderstand the use cases associated with TMS technologies and YMS technologies.Lead Lineage team members combined with contract resourcesBuild solid relationships with internal customers; communicate with other teams and groups in an organized and knowledgeable manner; deliver clear requests for information; demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasksParticipate in the design of present and future WMS applicationsWork with business unit partners and BAs to understand WMS use cases and requirementsCommunicate and enhance best practices, application, and integration service offerings for the enterpriseApply best practices and consistently develop high-quality software/codeSeek to resolve issues related to Lineage’s growing suite of internally developed applications (e.g., Lineage Link, metrics One, LinOS)Possess a broad technical understanding from DNS and SSO to DB queries and RESTful APIs to facilitate issue isolation and resolutionAnd above all else, listen and ask good questions

Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting application platformsWorking familiarity with the following languages is highly preferred: React, React Native, JavaScript, and Node.js2-3 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server and utilizing API calls2+ years of experience leading teams (e.g., generating a vision, establishing direction, and motivating team members; understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; providing guidance, clarification, and feedback to less experienced staff)Demonstrable experience with warehouse management platformsKnowledge of transportation systems and touch points with warehouse systemsAn understanding of EDI as a concept and aspects of integration with WMS, WCS, TMS, and YMS platformsProviding hands-on technical leadership while working closely with partners and internal teamsConducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex dataAbility to exemplify and promote Lineage’s core valuesBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
