Role and responsibilities:To write maintainable and testable code across all layers of the application.Working with existing team members, both developers and product owners to understand requirements.To liaise with the Release / DevOps manager to ensure daily builds are successful.To ensure changes made have been communicated clearly as release candidates are moved from development, through UAT and into Production.To contribute to the development team knowledge base by sharing experiences and suggesting changes to current practice to improve the way we deliver software.
Required skills and experience:C# (6 years)T-SQL (6 years)Angular (4 years)Design Patterns/capabilities using OO techniques, perhaps from working in a DDD environment (6 years)
Desired skills and experience:Excellent English and communication skills.Working with overseas development teams, preferably in the UK.Working with stakeholders and users alike to identify Business Requirements and embellish/refine user stories, NB Czarnikow does not employ Business Analysts and Product Owners are Subject Matter Experts from the business rather than IT Professionals.Providing advice and guidance regarding project approach and appropriate technologies.Developing/Integrating/Supporting Enterprise Applications e.g. CTRM, ERP, ECM, FMS, CRM, DMS.Working under Scrum or another agile development methodology.Experience with automation frameworks (we use Cypress)An understanding of trading environments and terminology.Experience within a commodity and/or other financial firm.React and JS.
