About The Role

As a Backend Engineer at MobyX, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our industry-leading software solutions. Working collaboratively with our frontend, mobile, and data teams, you will contribute to building scalable and secure APIs, integrating third-party services, and optimizing system performance. Key responsibilities:

Designing and implementing efficient and secure backend systemsDeveloping RESTful APIs and integrating third-party servicesOptimizing system performance and ensuring scalabilityCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutionsParticipating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback

Requirements

Must-have:

Proven work experience as a Backend Engineer of at least 2 yearsStrong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.jsExperience with designing and developing RESTful APIsKnowledge of databases, preferably PostgreSQLFamiliarity with cloud platforms, preferably AzureExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsGood command of the English Language A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field

How to stand-out:

Experience with managing containerized applications (e.g. Kubernetes)Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservicesUnderstanding of security and data protectionExperience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
