Frontend Developer (3-month contract)

Company brief: One of the biggest BNPL solutions in the world is looking for a seasoned frontend engineer looking for a short-term contract. Their main offering are a point‑of‑sale credit and digital payment services to customers and providing integrated retail finance solutions to merchants, both online and in‑store. In 2023 alone their solutions served over 6.3 million customers with over 5,000M USD in transaction volumes.

ResponsibilitiesWork on the core front end and key features for the Client Shopping & Experience Squad.

Qualifications5+ years of experience working as a front-end engineer in an agile environment using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.2+ years React + Next.js experience is requiredExperience with Contentful CMSExposure to automated testing tools such as Jest, Karma, Cypress, or SeleniumProficiency in building interfaces that match design specs and providing feedback on potential improvementsExperience in styling with standard CSS and CSS pre-processors such as SCSSExperience with design-focused tooling such as Storybook, design systems, BEM, and reusable componentsExperience tuning front-end web applications to optimize performance and SEO

Good to have: Experience with Azure DevOps is a plusExperience with web animations, Framer.js is a plus
