Job SummaryPerficient is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our search technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in JAVA and React, and interest in exploring and implementing new technologies to advance our search capabilities.

What do you need to come aboard?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on JAVA and React/Angular.Familiarity with Search Technologies (Lucidworks, Elasticsearch, Apache Solr, Lucene) and their integration.Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Previous experience in a similar role within the tech industry.Experience with SQL and database management.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience working with remote teams and a global workforce is a plus.Fluent in English.

To Rock This Role, You Should:Design, develop, and maintain search functionalities within our platform using JAVA and React.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize search algorithms for performance, scalability, and relevance.Integrate new search technologies and tools to enhance our platform’s capabilities.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to search performance and functionality.Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality.Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in search technologies and incorporate them into our platform.
