Azure Developer (6-Month Contract)

The resource will be working in Digital Core - Enterprise wide program they will replace and connect more than a dozen ERP systems through a single cloud based system. Its based on S4 Hana and will modernize client's data systems with an effort spanning seven years.

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Azure Developer for a 6-month contract position to assist with development tasks using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# programming and experience with API integration and data retrieval. This role requires someone who can work collaboratively with our team to develop, enhance, and integrate cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Azure services.Write clean, scalable code in C#.Design, implement, and maintain integration with various APIs.Retrieve and process data from external APIs.Ensure the seamless integration of API data into existing systems and applications.Develop integration solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API management toolsets.Implement modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth2).Develop Azure Functions (and potentially Logic Apps) to orchestrate SAP API calls triggered by updates from an Oracle database (QLS).Update processes from Azure Service Bus message queues to integrate back into the Oracle database.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.Troubleshoot and debug issues related to API integration and Azure services.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development and integration work.

Qualifications:Proven experience as a C# developer.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and development.Experience with API development, integration, and data retrieval.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.Skilled in developing integration solutions using Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure API management toolsets.Experience with modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth2).Ability to develop Azure Functions and Logic Apps to orchestrate SAP API calls and update Oracle systems.Knowledge of Azure integration design patterns and Azure Pipelines.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other cloud platforms is a plus.Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.Experience with DevOps practices and tools.Understanding of database management and data processing.
