Ruby on Rails Developer - QuickBooks API

This fragmented $1 trillion global industry has not yet adopted modern systems and instead relies on pen & paper or cobbles together dated technology solutions. We’re building a solution that modernizes and dramatically improves the rental process for both businesses and their customers. Who are we looking for We’re looking for a part-time specialist with experience in Ruby on Rails and specifically with the QuickBooks API. This person will help make sure the connection between our SaaS product and QuickBooks meets our customers’ needs and is up-to-date with the latest QuickBooks API. Responsibilities Key contributor to the development of the connection between TapGoods and QuickBooks Coordinates with engineering leadership and our product manager Requirements Strong development experience with Ruby on Rails and React (3+ years) Experience implementing, enhancing, and/or managing the QuickBooks API (helpful) Knowledge of accounting basics, including deferred revenue Quickly adapts based on data, insights and direction A great attitude and work ethic Fluent in English Saas Experience Experience and great recommendations as a self-managed contractor This is a remote, part-time, ongoing contractor role.
