At Web Shop Manager & PartsLogic, we rely on a dynamic team of engineers to solve the many challenges of our rapidly evolving technical stack. We’re seeking a full-stack developer who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performing SaaS solutions and will have complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of the automotive industry, e-commerce, web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
The full-stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.
Objectives of this roleWork across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growthDevelop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirementsAssume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deploymentEnsure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application designWork with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunitiesResponsibilitiesParticipate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deploymentDevelop and maintain scalable and high-performing software solutions using the specified tech stackArchitect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scaleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new featuresEnsure code quality through unit and functional testingOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalabilityTroubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionalityEngage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable softwareCollaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferencesStay up to date with industry trends and best practicesRequired skills and qualificationsAt least six years of experience in building large-scale software applicationsExperience in the automotive industry and automotive parts standards such as ACES and PIESExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience working in a small team startup environmentExperience working on or implementing e-commerce platforms or solutionsFamiliarity with AWS and cloud computing servicesAbility to write and maintain clear and concise technical documentationExperience in search technologies such as full-text lexical search and/or semantic vector-based searchStrong understanding of Git and experience with CI/CD pipelinesExperience with ML, ML embeddings, and generative AIExperience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience working with AWS BedrockExperience in building web applicationsExperience in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIsKnowledge of Ruby, Python, Javascript (Node.JS, React, Typescript, ES6, Cypress), Go, Rust, ElixirExperience processing large datasets and working with Big Data and Analytics.Experience working with data processing frameworks and services such as Apache Spark and AirflowExperience with databases such as, PostgresQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, influxDB, Milvus and QdrantExperience with Messaging Queues such as RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and KafkaExcellent debugging and optimization skillsExperience in unit/integration testingAn octopus called DavePreferred skills and qualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, or engineeringInterest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophiesProfessional certification
