Java Developer

Position: Java Developer with Healthcare ExperienceLocation: Remote Duration: 6+ Months

It is a remote role for one of our healthcare clients. Below is the job summary, but these are the absolute must haves - Java, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, SQL, RESTful API, OOD, Git/OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker, AWS, and healthcare industry experience.

Using such technologies as Java, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Oracle, & MySQLApplying micro-service architecturesHosting & consuming RESTful APIsEnsuring your code is efficient, optimized, and performantCollaborating on programming or development standardsMaintaining technical debt and applying security principlesReviewing the code of others while receiving feedback to ensure code qualityInnovating with ideas and products to the organizationPerforming unit testing and complex debugging to ensure quality

Requirements: 4+ years of progressive work experience designing & developing solutions for business initiativesPossesses a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalentLeverages or knowledgeable of the following languages & frameworksJava 11JavaScriptReact.jsNode.jsBootstrapSQL (Oracle & MySQL)

Works with RESTful APIs and web servicesDesigns using micro-service architectureApplies Object Oriented Design (OOD) principlesUnderstands database design principles & query languageImplements code-based unit testsLeverages Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker, or similar tools for deliveryExperience with Angular and/or React is a plusExperience with AWS is a plusKnowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus
