Type: Full-time, PermLocation: Fully Remote (U.S. Only)
Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of strategic work for developer clients.Conduct primary and secondary research.Identify industry best practices.Translate research findings into actionable strategies.Collaborate closely with the agency teams, including creative, marketing, and content to ensure strategic alignment, while effectively communicating their strategic perspectives and recommendations.Craft developer-centric value propositions and messaging for an audience of developers.Optimize website user experience (UX) for technical audiences (developers.)Audit developer programs across technical content, events, Dev/Rel, marketing, portals, and community activity.Identify strategic recommendations based on the client’s custom social listening reports and other data sources.Develop marketing content strategies for technical and marketing content (for developers.)User journey mapping and customer journey mapping.Website and web page wireframing and messaging.Create paid media, social, and community engagement marketing strategies.Define KPIs, implement tracking, and deliver data-led reporting.Conduct competitor analyses and industry deep dives.Provide budget recommendations.Optimize pipeline efficiency.Suggest channel split strategies.
Requirements/Qualifications:Must have 5+ years of recent experience crafting strategic marketing content and assets (including white papers, blog posts, social media, technical documentation, API documentation, tutorials, guides, value propositions, emails, campaigns, messaging, etc.) for the specific, target audience of Software Developers.Must have 5+ years of strong, recent DevRel and Developer Marketing experience.Must have experience with API, Open API, and Markdown.Experienced in optimizing website user experience (UX) for technical audiences (software developers.)Experienced in auditing developer programs across technical content, events, developer relations, marketing, portals, and community activity.Experience in identifying strategic recommendations based on the company's custom listing reports and other data sources.Must have strong experience in User Journey Mapping and Customer Journey Mapping.Must have strong experience defining KPIs, implementing tracking, and delivering data-led reporting.Must have experience conducting competitor analyses and industry deep dives.Must have consulting experience.Proven record of accomplishment conducting research and leveraging insights to develop impactful developer marketing programs.Must have a strong understanding of the developer experience, developer tools, and ecosystems.Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods.Ability to define KPIs at both the campaign and organizational levels.Experience in go-to-market (GTM) strategies across websites, marketing, technical content, and marketing channels.Must have an interest and familiarity with technology markets and industries, including API integration, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, web, and mobile development, blockchain technologies, and web3.
