About the role:As a Senior .NET Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for our Client.
Responsibilities:Full lifecycle development of all .NET solutions ranging from enterprise level property management and billing platforms, to microservice gateways and data collection servicesCollectively responsible for the AWS cloud network and the solutions that operate in the cloudWorking with the team and stakeholders to design new solutions and adapt existing solutions, depending on business requirementsActively take part in fortnightly sprints, updating JIRA and planning releases in an Agile processMaintenance, support and adaptation of existing in-house and outsourced solutions, written using .NETJoining a small team geared towards development and technical support to internal and external clients
Requirements:Full stack experience with ASP.NET (MVC), Web API, .NET Core and C# using Visual StudioExperience with legacy frameworks including Classic WebForms and .NET Framework 3.5Hands on experience configuring IIS and performing .NET Core deploymentsFront end experience with HTML, CSS, JavascriptKnowledge and experience with MS SQL Server with the ability to write SQL queriesExperience using EntityFramework and LINQExposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) particularly ELB, EC2, ECS and LambdaExperience with source control (TFS, GIT)Strong in all aspects of programming and proficient in object orientated programmingKnowledge of processing and manipulating large data setsUnderstanding of design patterns and frameworksStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProven history in developing technical projects from a ‘hands on’ perspective
Desirable:Understanding of security principles and techniques to safeguard data and personal informationKnowledge of AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild and CloudformationKnowledge of Windows ServicesKnowledge of Windows Server administrationKnowledge of CI/CD processesPowershell scriptingJIRA experienceSome exposure to working with PHP would be highly useful, but not essential
