Frontend Developer

In Short

Arke is actively searching for a qualified frontend developer in Brazil, either CLT or PJ. This individual will work with our Brazil Country Head to build and lead a team of developers. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications and leading other frontend developers. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. If you’re interested in creating a user-friendly environment by writing code and moving forward in your career, then this job is for you. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with team members and clients to produce the best solution given a set of technical and business requirementsEmploy modern development standards and practices with today’s tools and frameworks to develop software applications that surprise and delightContribute to the production of client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, test plans, and well-documented codeFoster trusted partnerships with coworkers and clientsProduce working prototypes that explore new approaches to UI design and delight customersDevelop tested and documented TypeScript, HTML and CSS(SASS/LESS)Create high performance applications for mobile and desktop with cross-browser compatibilityMaintain a high fidelity to branding requirementsEnsure that the integrity of design and user experience standards are held throughout developmentMaintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leadership

What We’d Love to See

Proven work experience as a front-end developerHands on experience with markup languagesExperience with HTML, CSS, and TypeScriptExperience with React.js FrameworkProficient with Git workflows and branch strategiesFamiliarity with browser testing and debuggingIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)Understanding of layout aestheticsKnowledge of SEO principlesIntermediate ability to speak English languageFluent ability to read and write English language

Soft Skills
