Job Description

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of developers. We're seeking a Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot, ReactJS) who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Full lifecycle - analysis, design, development, testing and implementation- of new or enhancements to middleware (micro) servicesMaintain middleware modules and services with code quality standardsKeep applications free of security vulnerabilities in compliance with organization's security policiesAssist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues. Provide suggestions for preventative stepsIncorporate suggestions for improvements and enhancements where meaningfulMay assist/lead in developing and maintaining technical documentation and store it in central locations (like Confluence, SharePoint) for accessible to team members.

Requirements:

RequiredGood English communication in both verbal and written.Minimum 6+ years of Java/J2EE development experienceExperience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Rest API, Spring DataExperience with unit testing framework (Junit)Worked on Java build & dependency management using tools like Maven, NexusExperience developing Restful services and associated testing using postman.Experience with React.Knowledge and experience with PCFHand on experience fixing security vulnerabilities and keeping open-source components up to date.Maintain code quality with static code analysis using SonarQubeGood knowledge of Oracle PL-SQL, RabbitMQ or similar message brokerWorking knowledge of code repository and management with tools like GitLab.Working knowledge of Linux and Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.

Nice-to-have

Experience with JIRA integration.Experience with logging and auditing using Splunk.Previous experience in Finance/Banking industry.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
