POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a mid-level .NET Developer with 5 years of proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems on the .NET platform. Specific responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing desktop/web applications.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Flexible, self-directed, and motivated individual, able to accommodate to shifting priorities with minimum oversight and acquire new skills autonomously.Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications using .NET technologies.Collaborate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.Experience working within an Agile environment and an understanding of basic Agile concepts, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews. Possess an understanding complex function in applications.Skilled in creating and maintaining web-based applications from business requirements using .NET frameworks, C# and VB.Perform all phases of the software life cycle development, including requirements analysis, system and database design/ analysis, graphics design, user interfaces, system documentation, software development, peer reviews, testing, implementation, and sustainment. This includes use cases, Software Design Documentation (SDD), and/or redesign of application programs as well as initial coding, revising, testing, documenting, operation and maintaining all custom software and maintaining documented configuration management controls.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing software applications to enhance functionality and performance.Experience with creating and modifying deployment build plans, conducting scans for security vulnerabilities, writing remediation plans, and providing reasoned justifications for false positives.

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to pass a 7 year background check and be able to obtain a US Public Trust.Must live in and currently reside in the Washington D.C. metro area (DC/MD/VA).Must be willing to be onsite periodically for on-site meetings or to handle emergencies and tasks that require hands-on attention.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in a Technical Discipline (i.e. Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field) and 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework (preferably 4.8) Development.Must have professional experience with .NET framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and Entity Framework.Must possess a strong understanding of DevExpress and WinForms.Must have experience working on an RDBMS like SQL Server (2019) and Oracle (19c).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
