ServiceNow Lead Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced Developer who can act as a Development Lead experience in Agile development activities, story estimation, leading scrum activities, and managing backlogs would be very much appreciated.Just to clarify – Project Manager work is done by PMs so no expectations here on that.

As Senior ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for overseeing of development and implementation of business processes as well for the analysis of the business requirements before getting to this point or during the development phases.You might lead a team of Consultants during projects or develop the architecture of ServiceNow solutions.Summary: we are looking for a person who is not just a developer – some interaction with the client will be required to consult, talk, and discuss solutions – despite the fact who gathered the initial requirements.Soft skills are important for this position.

As for the ServiceNow module skills and knowledge- ideally, we are looking for HRSD, GRC but having in mind the market trends and skills spread – if you’re more experienced around ITSM, ITOM, ITAM modules – this is fine as long as you are open to learning more.

To summarise: we are focused on finding communicative developers of ServiceNow who are not afraid to ask questions or clarify some story details with clients providing consulting.If you have product experience, the knowledge and can take a meeting with a client – you may be a perfect candidate.

As Senior ServiceNow Developer you would be a part of project teams involved in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of NowPlatform allowing you to develop your technical and business skills in a global environment. The client is a Global Elite ServiceNow partner and works with all types of modules of the platform, heavily using their features and developing custom solutions not yet built by others.

Skills and attributes:To succeed in the role you must have a very good understanding of the platform and be confident while working through implementation, customization, or maintenance projects.Very good understanding of NowPlatform architecture – minimum 3 years,Proven track of product customizations or integrations, implementation, maintenance,Experience in project activities as a Lead Developer, PM, or Architect,Proven experience with at least one programming language (JavaScript, C#, Java, or others),Demonstrate an awareness of Best Practices in the IT industry,Thorough understanding of ITIL and Agile,Fluent communication in English.

Ideally, you’ll also have:A good command of German or another European language would be an advantage but not mandatory,University degree (eventually last year) in technical field or economics.
