In this role, you will create and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites, primarily focusing on front-end development. You will work closely with our design and development teams to bring creative visions to life while ensuring optimal website performance and functionality.Responsibilities:Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to meet specific project requirements.Utilize Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible and dynamic content structures for easy management.Write clean, well-organized, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.Implement responsive web design principles to ensure cross-device compatibility.Integrate interactive elements and animations using JavaScript and jQuery.Optimize website performance for fast loading times and seamless user experience.Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptly and effectively.Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in front-end WordPress development, preferably with a portfolio showcasing previous work.Strong understanding of WordPress theme development, including template hierarchy, custom post types, and hooks.Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass or Less), and JavaScript (ES6+).Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and other relevant WordPress plugins.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.Knowledge of website optimization techniques, such as image compression and caching.Experience with PHP for basic WordPress template modifications.
