Overview

As a Front End Developer Intern, you will play a crucial role in implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with on websites and applications. You will work closely with the design and backend development teams to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement and optimize user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptDevelop and maintain responsive web design for various devicesTest and debug front-end applications for usability and accessibilityCollaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design elementsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standardsStay updated with emerging technologies and industry trendsAssist in troubleshooting and resolving front-end issuesContribute to the overall user experience through thoughtful front-end solutionsDocument code and technical specifications

Required Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldUnderstanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as ReactBasic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASSKnowledge of code versioning tools, such as GitUnderstanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practicesBasic understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to themExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to adapt and learn new technologies quicklyExperience with responsive and adaptive designUnderstanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themStrong understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
