BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated C# Azure Developer for an opportunity in Redmond, WA

Position Title: C# Azure Developer

Location: Fully Remote

Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Expected Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Type: Contract and Remote

Pay Range: $60/hr. - $65/hr.

Typical Day in the Role:

Purpose of the Team: The team is an engineering team, which is responsible for managing daily builds, the infrastructure behind it, code flow, and security aspects. Key projects: Engineering Build Systems Team: Managing daily builds, infrastructure, code flow, security aspects, and potentially fixing related issues. This team also handles security work, manages queries and deliverables, and may assist in running engineering spaces Years of Experience Required: 5-7 overall years of experience in the field. Degrees or certifications required: degree is a preference for this role.

Looking for:

Experience working in a continuous delivery service model space (engineering/build is best), incl things like Jenkins, ADO, GitHub, etc. Familiarity with Azure Services and Deployment to Azure Services ARM/Bicep Templates Experience with ADO Pipelines C# or OOP Programming Language. Front End - Angular or React Experience. Must be able to pass Cloud Background Check

Nice to have

PowerShell or Perl

TYPES OF WORK

Engineering System Features and Bug Fixes. Investigate and Fix issues from Telemetry. Establish Telemetry and Alerting for Engineering System Features.

Compliance updates/component governance updates in repos as needed (dep language but probably Angular and/or react)

Summary:

The main function of a Software Database Engineer is to establish system information requirements using analysis of information in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action Provides daily supervision and direction to staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred 5-7 years' experience required Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments Requires practical experience and training
