Job Description This Application Developer role is to design, develop, implement and support organizational PeopleSoft applications and interfaces.. Roles & Responsibilities Develop, deploy and support custom PeopleSoft applications, interfaces, and reports.Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.Designs, develops and deploys following documented best practices for PeopleSoft and SDLC.Develops technical specifications for all new applications/interfaces.Work closely with business users, help desk, server, network and database administrators to assist with application support.Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving.Provide technical guidance related to database and operating system patching plans. Requirements 8+ Years’ experience with FSCM 9.2 (modules desired: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Assets) & HCM 9.2(modules desired: Core HR, Base Benefits, Payroll Interface, Recruiting, Compensation, etc.).Manages the process of innovative change effectively.Self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple projects, under time constraints, in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Excellent organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong object-oriented programming skillsExperience with technical upgrades and implementations for PeopleSoft.Experience participating in different life cycle phases such as requirements gathering, design, and development efforts.Extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM Version 8.9/9.2 with Payroll, Base Benefits & HR and FSCM 9.2 (modules desired: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Assets) and PeopleTools on a Windows / SQL Server platform.Development and support experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQRs, Application Engine, Workflow, Check Print File (ADP), Component Interface, Integration Broker and SQL ServerBachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
