Node.js Backend Developer Intern

IT MAVERICK SOLUTIONS is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a Backend Developer Intern. We're a dynamic IT solutions provider specializing in custom software development, web design, and IT consulting.

About the Role:As a Backend Developer Intern, you will collaborate with our experienced team to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications. You will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, learn from industry experts, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

Duration: 3 months (with PPO based on performance)

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and PHPWrite clean, efficient, and scalable codeDesign and implement database schemas using SQLParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackAssist in troubleshooting and optimizing application performanceDevelop RESTful APIs for integration with frontend componentsDocument codebase and technical processes

Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in JavaScript and backend development conceptsSolid understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL)Familiarity with RESTful API designExperience with version control systems (Git)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills:Experience with other backend frameworks or librariesKnowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Previous internship or project experience in backend development is a plus but not required.
