Role Description:We are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Ruby on Rails Developer at Hire IT People, Inc., you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development. You will leverage your strong foundation in object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, implement Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, and practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) to create robust and efficient web applications.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain back-end web applications using Ruby on Rails.Work on front-end development tasks to create seamless user experiences.Implement and follow OOP principles to ensure scalable and maintainable code.Utilize MVC architecture to structure web applications effectively.Practice TDD to ensure code quality and reliability.Collaborate with remote team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions and improvement initiatives.Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely solutions.Qualifications:Proven experience in back-end web development using Ruby on Rails.Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Hands-on experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture.Knowledge and practice of Test-Driven Development (TDD).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of cloud services and containerization technologies is a plus.Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and why they are a good fit for this role to sravanthi.chodavarapu@hireitpeople.com
