Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer at MavenBird Technologies Private Limited. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites and mobile applications. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the best user experience and functionality for our clients' online stores.

Key Responsibilities:Custom Shopify Development: Develop and customize Shopify themes and applications using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Create tailored solutions to meet client requirements and enhance the Shopify platform’s capabilities.React Integration: Utilize React to build interactive and dynamic components for Shopify stores. Develop and implement complex features that require advanced client-side functionality.Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are optimized for speed, responsiveness, and performance. Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards.API Integration: Integrate Shopify with third-party services and APIs, including payment gateways, CRM systems, and other external tools, to extend the platform’s functionality.User Experience: Collaborate with designers and UX/UI specialists to translate wire-frames and design mock-ups into functional, high-quality web interfaces. Focus on creating seamless, user-centric experiences.Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Shopify stores. Address and resolve any technical issues, bugs, or performance problems as they arise.Documentation: Document development processes, customizations, and integrations to facilitate future updates and ensure clear understanding for team members and clients.Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver projects on time and within scope.

QualificationsShopify development experienceProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Liquid programming languageExperience in theme customization and app integration on Shopify platformKnowledge of responsive design principlesExperience with version control systems like GitStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Skills:Shopify Plus: Experience with Shopify Plus and enterprise-level e-commerce solutions.Advanced React: Deep understanding of React’s ecosystem, including Redux, Hooks, and Context API.SEO: Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques.
