Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a Semi SR FullStack Developer in Latin America to become a part of our team!

• What we offer:

Salary in USD100% remote position Contractor AgreementFull time. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 to 17 EST.Time off and sick days are covered.

• Requirements

Experience with WooCommerce/Wordpress, or both. The person needs to be able to create an e-commerce and create extended functionalities.Experience in PHP and JavaScriptIntermediate or Advanced English levelGreat verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience developing backend in projects

• Desirable skills:

Experience with ShopifyExperience with HTML and CSSKnowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Node.js, Python, Ruby, and or Java would be a plus

• Primary responsibilities of the position

Frontend Development: - Creating and maintaining user interfaces (UI) for web applications. - Ensuring the UI is responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly across different devices and browsers. - Implementing design mockups and wireframes provided by UI/UX designers. - Optimizing frontend performance for faster loading times and better user experience.

Backend Development: - Developing server-side logic using programming languages - Building and maintaining databases (SQL or NoSQL) and writing efficient queries. - Implementing security measures to protect data and prevent unauthorized access. - Integrating third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality. - Handling server deployment and ensuring scalability and reliability.

Database Management: - Designing database schemas and optimizing database performance. - Writing and maintaining database queries and procedures. - Ensuring data integrity and security. - Performing data migrations and backups as needed.

Version Control: - Keeping track of code changes and maintaining a clean and organized code repository. - Collaborating with team members through branching, merging, and code reviews. - Resolving conflicts and ensuring smooth integration of code changes.

Testing and Debugging: - Writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to validate functionality. - Debugging and fixing issues reported by users or identified during testing. - Performing code reviews to identify potential bugs and improve code quality.

Continuous Learning and Improvement: - Continuously learning new languages, frameworks, and tools to improve their skills. - Experimenting with new technologies and proposing innovative solutions to problems. - Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members through documentation, presentations, or mentorship.
