We’re working with a well-renowned eCommerce agency based in Bath to help them find a Senior Frontend Developer to join their team.
They’re experts in new builds, design, app creation, site takeovers and more; elevating the growth of some iconic brands and helping them to stand out from the crowd. They work with big names across fashion, gifts, homeware, sports, food and drink to name a few. A highly remote role with one trip every quarter to their office for key team meetings. Of course, if you want to be office based more often, you have the option to do so.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Developer you’ll play an integral role in building technically advanced and beautifully designed eCommerce sites for a growing customer base. You’ll work on greenfield projects, support and maintenance of existing platforms as well as some app development exposing you to TypeScript and React.
This role is primarily a hands-on but also combines a small amount of leadership and team mentoring of more junior developers, ensuring they feel supported in their day-to-day role. You’ll work closely with Account Managers to ensure projects are properly scoped and delivered to the highest standard and with the Head of Development to help define best practice and ensure quality within the code.

The skills we’re looking for.
· Commercial experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.· Demonstrable experience with Shopify.· Prior experience supporting/mentoring other developers.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Comfortable in a client facing environment. · Experience in project estimation.· Knowledge of TypeScript and/or React would be ideal.· Prior experience in an eCommerce environment is highly desirable.
