PowerBuilder Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PowerBuilder development, MS SQL, and experience in migrating applications from PowerBuilder to PowerServer. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with interfacing systems using HL7 are highly desirable.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using PowerBuilder.• Perform database development tasks, including designing and managing SQL tables and data structures.• Integrate applications with other systems using HL7 protocols.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective support.• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a PowerBuilder Developer.• Experience in PFC Framework• Proficiency in TSQL.• Experience in C# is a plus.• Experience with PowerServer is a plus.• Understanding of healthcare applications and standards, including HL7 is a plus• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
