Title: Business Developer FranceTerms: Full Time / Flexible workingLocation: Fully Remote (time zones UTC-1 to UTC+2)Salary: €30,000 basic salary per year OTE €42,000

The Role

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful business developer to drive sales for Itemwise in France. Itemwise is a smart marketing platform specifically designed for classifieds. Our latest product additions have great potential in the French market, especially within the real estate sector, which we are eager to explore. We are looking for a dynamic business developer with an entrepreneurial spirit to seize and maximize this exciting opportunity.

The role will focus on increasing our presence and raising awareness among potential customers in France, with the ultimate goal of driving commercial growth in this market.

You will be fired up by the idea of playing a key role in this expansion and will be excited to use your fluent French and English language skills and your can-do attitude to make this happen.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, motivation and the genuine desire and ability to turn a cold call into a warm opportunity, and ultimately a sale.

As a crucial member of a small team, you will make a real difference and play a significant role in our company's development and expansion.

Your Experience

Experience in a business development or sales role is required. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset, who can demonstrate the following:

Natural flair with an appetite for achieving sales and delivering against a targetA self-motivated person who thrives in a startup environmentA collaborative team player

Pre-existing connections within the French real estate industry are a definite advantage.

Your Main Responsibilities

Identify and reach out to potential clients via cold calls, emails, and other channelsPresent our products and services effectively to prospective clientsConvert a cold prospect into a warm lead or saleCollaborate with the sales team to achieve targets and revenue goalsKeep abreast of trends and competition to inform your approach

Fluent in spoken and written French and EnglishExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalProven experience in cold calling and new business developmentAbility and desire to work autonomously and from homeAbility to make connections with and interact effectively with people at all levelsCan-do, proactive, resourceful attitudeA natural ability to problem-solve and find inventive processes and solutionsSelf-starter, self-motivated with a strong desire to exceed targetsPerseverance and tenacityExcited by growth opportunities and making a real differenceFamiliarity with Pipedrive, Slack, Google Workspace or similar systems
