Sr. Glide Developer

Description:As a Glide Developer at client, you will be responsible for building high-quality Glide apps alongside our client Futures team. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create elegant user experiences that connect several external data sources to create highly effective product prototypes. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for Glide and a proven track record of building complex applications using the platform.

Duration: Contract-to-hire based on business needs and performance - note that if the CW accepts a FTE role, it would require a hybrid schedule with 3 days at an client's site.Job Title: Sr. Glide DeveloperLocation: Gaithersburg preferred but due to the specific skill requirements, approval for 100% remote is possible. Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Glide platform.• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create innovative solutions in Glide.• Integrate external APIs to enhance app functionality and performance.• Utilize Glide Big Tables to manage and manipulate large data sets.• Implement and optimize custom components within Glide or quickly learn to build them.• Develop complex actions and workflows using conditional logic to meet business requirements.• Implement multiple Glide integrations to streamline and enhance application capabilities.• Continuously learn and adapt to new features and updates in the Glide ecosystem.• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the development and maintenance phases.

Requirements:• Must love working with Glide and be passionate about creating extremely high-quality applications.• Over 200 hours of experience working with Glide.• Experience building complex, enterprise-grade Glide applications.• Understanding of responsive design and firm command of using Glide Containers that scale well on desktop and mobile experiences• Knowledge of HTML and CSS• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.• A portfolio of apps you've built using Glide, showcasing your expertise and creativity.• Extensive experience using external APIs to extend app functionality.• Proficiency in using Glide Big Tables for handling large data sets connected to external APIs.• Experience with Glide's new custom components feature or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to building custom components.• Proven experience in developing complex actions and workflows using conditional logic.• Experience integrating multiple Glide integrations to enhance app functionality and user experience.

Potential for being customer facing, which would then require some travel. Education: No minimum requirement Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with Glide,Minimum of 5 years of development experience.
