The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building API services and deploying them within Docker containers. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable and efficient API services that will be deployed on Amazon EKS infrastructure. Additionally, knowledge of SAP Commerce (Hybris) or eCommerce capabilities/transactions is highly desired. English speaking and reading proficiency is a must.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable API services using Node.js.- Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.- Deploy and manage applications on Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer.- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js.- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration.- Experience with deploying applications on Amazon EKS.- Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication skills and proficiency in English (both speaking and reading).Desired Skills and Qualifications:- Knowledge of SAP Commerce or eCommerce capabilities/transactions.- Experience with microservices architecture.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.- Understanding of security best practices in application development.- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
