ColdFusion Developer - Remote

Position : IT Web Applications ColdFusion DeveloperLocation : Kalamazoo, MICHIGAN (Remote Role)Duration : 6+ Months

Analyzes, modifies, and supports ColdFusion applications systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the organization’s business. Gathers requirements from users and creates specifications and develops code. Designs and writes code to support existing applications. Interacts with SQL Server database platform to utilize data within business applications and reporting queries. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures using various programming languages. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of IT related tasks.

Roles and responsibilities -

Performs routine programming assignments requiring demonstrated expertise with ColdFusion programming language, knowledge of established programming procedures, and data processing requirements.Maintains and modifies routine programs; makes approved changes by amending flow charts, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes.Writes new program code using prescribed specifications, as appropriate. Tests and develops modifications and writes operational instructions.Evaluates simple interrelationships between programs, e.g. whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor. Confers with users to gain an understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned5 years’ experience at Senior level of expertise and performanceFlexible on location but need to be able to cover US Mountain time zoneMust have strong technical and communication skills
