We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and improving existing ServiceNow applications, ensuring the integrity of data pulled from various systems, and enhancing reporting capabilities. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of understanding and refining complex code, not limited to developing from scratch. The ideal candidate will be an astute problem-solver, ready to tackle challenges head-on in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:- Analyze and resolve data anomalies within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple data tables and API calls.- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand issues in the existing codebase, originating from our learning management system or other sources.- Develop and implement solutions for identified problems, making necessary adjustments to existing code and integrations.- Assist in refining and customizing ServiceNow reporting tools to meet business requirements.- Ensure best practices are followed in the development and maintenance of ServiceNow applications.- Work collaboratively with the IT team and report directly to the Director of Commercial Applications, Chris Corona.- Provide technical expertise and guidance in ServiceNow for ongoing and future projects.
Qualifications:- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience as a ServiceNow Developer.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.- ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly desirable.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:- Proficiency in troubleshooting and understanding existing code and APIs.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.- Expertise in ServiceNow development, including script-based solutions.- Familiarity with reporting and data analysis within ServiceNow.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.- Willingness to adapt to new challenges and learn from existing setups.
Tools Required:- Proficiency with ServiceNow platform tools and technologies.- Experience with integration methods such as RESTful APIs.- Knowledge of scripting languages used in ServiceNow, such as JavaScript.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Additional Details:- This is a remote position with the requirement to work 4-5 hours within the Central Standard Time (CST) zone.
