Senior Java Developer

Context Our IT department is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a Java engineer, you will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers who support the developer platform and infrastructure. Main responsibilities:o Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.o Implement software solutions that meet business needs and technical specifications.o Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding standards and best practices.o Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.o Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.o Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.o Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design and development processes.o Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

What we are looking for :o Proficient in Java versions: 8, 11, 17, 21.o Back-end: Spring Boot (v2.x, v3.x), Spring Framework (Web MVC v5.x, v6.x), Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring AMQPo Front-end: Angular (v>12) – nice to have

Additional Skills:o Strong knowledge of microservice development patterns and architectureso Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift (v3/4)o Familiar with pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven developmento Experience in designing and modeling relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databaseso Skilled in collaborative tools: GITo Familiar with Agile methodologieso Ability to work in a team, act proactively, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset; capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlineso Strong analytical and communication skills

Experience: Minimum 3 years of development experience using the Spring (Boot & Cloud) framework and microservices Minimum 4 years of experience in IT projects
