Senior Creative Web Developer

This is a remote position for applicants who are located in the Pacific Time Zone of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging web assets using JavaScript, and Responsive HTML/CSSPlan, implement, monitor, and iterate on A/B testsWork across multiple products/platforms using React, TypeScript, Redux, and NodeJSEmbrace a variety of projects, working across diverse teams

Essential Skills:

At least 7 years of front-end development experience, with some backend experience Strong understanding of JavaScript, including its nuances and workarounds.Ability to learn and implement new frameworks, we operate on a “best tool for the job” policyA history of work that demonstrates a knowledge of:Mastery of HTML/CSSJavaScript/TypeScript and a JavaScript library such as React (preferred) or AngularRedux or another state management toolSolid fundamentals in computer science and OO or functional software developmentUnderstanding of high-level concepts and web performanceNodeJS, Typescript, Docker, MySQL, and MongoDBExperience with Redux or similar state management toolsAbility to collaborate effectively in a team and work independentlyStrong communication skills, open to learning and constructive feedbackExperience with Git and other version control systems

Desirable Skills:

An eye for design and the ability to translate concepts into pixel-perfect web applications/pagesProficiency in analytics and testingDemonstrated ability to take ownership of projectsStrong interest in data analysis for informed decision-makingHaving a strong desire to learn and grow

Additional Pluses:

Familiarity with PHPExperience with templating engines like Nunjucks or Handlebars

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $120,000-$140,000 USD. This range is dependent on a variety of factors. This position will also include profit sharing, which also depends on a variety of factors.
