Responsibilities

We are seeking Full- Stack Angular/Java Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on modernization and technology transformation projects that have a direct impact on our defense programs. You will be part of an empowered agile team with the opportunity to innovate and learn continuously, working with best architects and technical leads.

Responsibilities

Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements, solution design, development, QA, and implementation. Develop, modernize, and make enhancements to an existing application or new enterprise microservice application. Must have strong knowledge on Spring, Spring Boot and Angular. Must have good understanding on Hibernate ORM tool and PostgreSQL. Be able to develop applications with Docker container and Kubernetes. Strong understanding on database design, development, tune-up, and optimization. Have a strong expertise and understanding of AWS Cloud Services. Write automated unit test cases to support test driven development (TDD). Support verification and validation of software by supporting Quality Assurance team. Perform application and security code scans and support the remediation of scan findings. Create new or maintain existing CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives. Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed.

Managing the complete software development process from conception to deploymentExcellent knowledge of back-end programming language such as JavaxExcellent knowledge on developing the applications with AngularJSExcellent knowledge on front-end web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with ability to render server-side and client-side contentExcellent knowledge required on MVC frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot Excellent knowledge on using ORM tool Hibernate for transaction managementPerform analysis, development, building and deployment of software developedA demonstrated understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) including RESTful Service frameworks (Web API)Familiarity with common programing design patterns and best practicesA demonstrated understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) including RESTful Service frameworks (Web API)Working knowledge of testing frameworks like XUnit, NUnit, Jest, JMeter Selenium or CypressExperience with common version control tools such as GitFamiliarity with working in an Agile Scrum environmentStrong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly

Desired Qualifications

6+ years of related experience.Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Sonar Qube, TFS etc.Knowledge of section 508 compliance design principlesExperience in developing responsive websites and mobile appsExperience using GitHub or other Git-based source control systemsExperience in one or more the following frameworks and tools: DI, Dapper, NuGet packages, logging (log4j)Experience with gulp, webpack, or rollup is desirable

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field/ other field is a must

Clearance: US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
