About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow, be adept at working through complex code written by others, and excel in troubleshooting and optimizing data integration processes.
Key Responsibilities:Code Review and Debugging: Analyze and understand existing code that integrates data from a learning management system (LMS) into our ServiceNow instance. Identify and resolve data anomalies, determining whether they stem from code issues, LMS problems, or other sources.Data Integration: Oversee and enhance the process of pulling multiple data tables from the LMS into ServiceNow through API calls. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data transfers.Reporting Tweaks: Collaborate on refining and improving reports generated from integrated data. Implement necessary tweaks to enhance reporting quality and usefulness.Code Maintenance: Maintain and update existing code, ensuring it remains functional and efficient. Offer insights and recommendations for code optimization.Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on data integration and reporting issues.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong background in data integration and API management.Technical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing and debugging existing code, with a deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, APIs, and data integration techniques.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and address data anomalies and other integration issues effectively.Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and provide clear explanations of technical findings and recommendations.Remote Work: Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and managing tasks independently.
