Role Overview, Requirements, and Qualifications:This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping, leading, and inspiring within our technological framework. This role demands close collaboration with our founding and executive team. We seek disciplined and responsible candidates who take full ownership of their tasks and consistently deliver reliability. At Journey AI, you will build, lead, inspire, and find joy and fulfillment in your contributions.

Must-Haves (YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE):Status in Canada: Open Work Permit, Must be a Canadian Citizen, or Permanent Resident.Location: Must be living in Canada.Experience: 7+ years of full-stack development experience with top-tier proficiency.Development Skills: Proficiency in BOTH front-end and back-end development is required. Please do not apply if you specialize in only one area.Next.js Expertise: Extensive experience with Next.js, especially version 14+. Do not apply if you lack strong Next.js experience.Technical Skills: Solid experience with TypeScript, React, Node & Express, NoSQL (MongoDB), SQL (MySQL) databases, Redis, REST & GraphQL APIs, Git, GitHub, CI/CD, AWS/Microsoft Azure.Availability: Ability to work in the EST timezone.Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, consistently delivering projects on time.

Nice to Haves:Previous startup experience.Leadership qualities.Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.Passion for SaaS, AI, or E-commerce.
