Creative Web Developer (Junior/Mid)

This is a remote position for applicants who are located in the Pacific Time Zone of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging web assets using JavaScript, and Responsive HTML/CSSExecute and refine A/B testing strategies to optimize user experience and functionalityCollaboratively manage and contribute to multiple codebasesEmbrace a variety of projects, working across diverse teams

Essential Skills:

At least 3 years of front-end development experience, with some back-end know-how as a bonusStrong understanding of JavaScript, including its nuances and workaroundsAbility to learn and implement new frameworks, we operate on a “best tool for the job” policyProficient in HTML/CSS, with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and libraries like React (preferred)Experience with Redux or similar state management toolsUnderstanding of high-level web performance conceptsAbility to collaborate effectively in a team and work independentlyStrong communication skills, open to learning and constructive feedbackExperience with Git and other version control systems

Desirable Skills:

An eye for design and the ability to translate concepts into pixel-perfect web applications/pagesExperience with TypeScript, NodeJS, Docker, MySQL, and MongoDBProficiency in analytics and testingDemonstrated ability to take ownership of projectsStrong interest in data analysis for informed decision-making

Additional Pluses:

Familiarity with PHPExperience with templating engines like Nunjucks or Handlebars

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 USD. This range is dependent on a variety of factors. This position will also include profit sharing, which also depends on a variety of factors.
