We are on the lookout for a quantitative developer with a strong focus on multithreaded systems in Rust. This position leans heavily towards the development side of quant dev, particularly for algorithmic trading bots, rather than scikit, AI, or stochastic calculus. Applicants should be enthusiastic about blockchain technology and its world-changing potential.Our crypto firm is developing a new permissionless Ethereum L2 Blockchain. The ecosystem for this L2 is currently under construction, and this role will assist in scaling and enhancing the ecosystem.

The Job:Design and implement trading, hedging, and risk mitigation strategies for the ecosystem and associated entities.Emphasize security, auditing, and improving current tools for continuous monitoring and risk management.Additional tasks may include refining liquidation bots, arbitrage bots, and establishing risk limits for relevant products and services.

Tools of the Trade:Rust: Essential. Experience in systems programming (C++, Go) is also acceptable, but Rust will be the primary language.Python: Standard for data science and quantitative analytics.AWS: Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem is highly advantageous.SQL: Basic SQL skills are useful for occasional data retrieval.Solidity: As an Ethereum L2 project, Solidity is crucial. You'll need to be proficient in writing and analyzing smart contracts, particularly for advanced trading bots and transactions.
