Project description

As an AI Frontend Developer, your primary responsibility is to design and implement user interfaces for AI-powered applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers and (AI) backend developers, to create seamless and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience of our AI products. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between AI technology and user interaction, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient frontend for our cutting-edge applications.

Responsibilities

Building high-traffic user interfaces depending on your area of expertise

Cooperating with Engineers, Product Managers, QAs, and Designers to ship new components and features by utilizing our Design System

Drafting architectural decisions together with the Engineering Manager and Solution Architect, and exploring new technologies

Contributing on team processes via active participation in regular retrospectives

Exchanging your knowledge with other Engineers and being part of the Client Family

Being an active participant in team processes, offering insights in regular retrospectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

For senior roles, mentoring junior colleagues and nurturing their professional growth while enhancing your leadership capabilities.

Skills

Must have

Frontend Development Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Node JS)

AI Integration: Understanding of how to integrate AI models and services into frontend applications, including handling data flow and interactions.

User Interface Design: Strong design sensibility and experience working with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, AI researchers, and other stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome technical and organizational obstacles.

Strong passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience working as a frontend developer

Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of AI technologies

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing user interfaces for web applications.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure or Cloudflare) and their AI services is advantageous.

Previous experience working on projects that involve AI or machine learning is highly beneficial.
