Z/OS Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Z/OS Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend systems, ensuring efficient and reliable performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement robust solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using assembler.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.Implement and manage well-functioning applications and databases.Produce application requirements and detailed design documents analyzing existing system environment and incoming business rules and conversion details.Create effective interfaces for system applications and services.Create security and data protection settings.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experienceA minimum of 8 years of relative experience and coding experienceActive IRS MBI (Minimum Background Investigation) clearanceProficiency in Mainframe Technologies - TSO, JCL, Control-MExperience with Operating Systems - Z/OS, LinuxScripting - Bash/CLIIRS Systems - IRS Masterfile (IMF / BMF / CADE2)Experience with Rational Quality Manager (RQM)Database Management - SQL, MongoDBProgramming Language - JavaAutomation and Configuration Management - Ansible
