A forward thinking Software Vendor is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to be part of the internal IT systems development team. You will work in an agile environment with other teams (including product development, sales, support, and marketing) to deliver business applications based largely on web technologies.An exciting future project will involve supporting a Greenfield SaaS Platform build using modern NodeJS. This is a great opportunity to use your expertise whilst having the opportunity use modern technology and methodologies to create exciting products for clients.

Responsibilities include: Senior PHP DeveloperDesign, code, test, document, maintain, and support web-based applicationsContribute to requirements, design specification, and technical documentationResearch emerging technologies and products; recommend suitable products and plan implementationContribute to project planning (agile development)

Experience Required: Senior PHP Developer4+ years' commercial software development experience using PHP1+ year commercial experience using NodeJSIdeal experience using SymfonyExperience with Object-oriented techniques and relational databases (MySQL or Postgres would be ideal)Collaborative approach to develop and maintain professional working relationshipsStrong written and verbal communication skills
